About us

We are located in Brumovice in the area of Břeclav. Since 1998, we have specialized in materials for folk costumes, preferably made of natural materials by traditional techniques. To accommodate specific orders for our customers, we also arrange for custom-made goods sold by the meter, such as lace, galloon, scarfs, etc. Some of the vintage linen, or vintage tulle needle lace, multi-colour embroidered lace, woven ribbons and madeira linen are sold exclusively in our shop. We also offer accessories for folk costumes, parts of the folk costumes and whole folk costume sets. At the moment we have five full-time employees and four external co-workers. Our services include sewing, hand- and machine-embroidering, washing, ironing, starching, hat decorating, and other custom-tailoring.

Our customers come from different backgrounds: folk groups, lovers of folklore, non-profit organizations, towns, villages, schools, choirs and theatres. Our customers come from the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Austria and other countries. They are also often looking for historical costumes, uniforms, or liturgical vestments.

As a result of our tireless effort, we moved into a newly-built period-looking shop in the centre of the village in 2011. We believe the new premises as well as our wide range of goods on offer will please all our customers.
